Suspecting fake supplier. We contacted him through a vacation rentals' booking platform to book a villa on the 5th of February in order to book for the 10th. On the 6th he writes to us: "Hello, unfortunately we can't accommodate you because the villa was double booked." This is so unfair! The availability back then allowed to book the property with no problems. He hasn't even refunded us the money. We suspect a scam owner.

Scam. Woman's voice purporting to be from bank security informing me of two large withdrawals attempted on my card. Press 1 to cancel and 2 to speak to someone.

Claims to be BT technical regarding illegal use of broadband band and a threat to disconnect. It’s not it fake. Also calls from other numbers in completely different locations.

I was called yesterday from this phone number. I answered, and right away, a robot with female voice started to say something about HMRC, penalty, and I remembered that I saw some reviews from another phone numbers saying about this kind of calls, pretended to be from HMRC. So, after 16 seconds, I hung up. Be careful, this is another spam!!

SCAM The caller claims to be from Amazon and in this call discussed my having two Amazon Prime accounts, one with an annual fee and the other with a monthly subscription. She asked whether I wished to cancel the yearly subscription. I replied yes preferring to determine the account on a monthly basis. She then said she would send a text with a code that would demonstrate she was genuinely from Amazon. Shortly I received a text from Amazon which was an OTP - one time password. Keeps calling but no one answers. Last three digits are changed each time I block them. When will this be stopped.

Called by these people offering a free loft roof space check, assured no money involved but if anything detected we would have two years to decide. Loft space checked and said to be in poor state for mould and decay of boards, told it would cost £8k to fix but if we went onto the express service it would be £6,400 but we had to book in right away. We asked for time to think about it and he then appeared to call a colleague who agreed to lower price to £6k but we must firm immediately. We declined.

Fraud Called today and they had hacked my mobile accounts, changed account names, passwords, mothers maiden name etc. Called O2 who confirmed hacking. Avoid!!! SCAM
