Automated call to say that there had been fraudulent activity on our bank account. Then gave 2 amounts. £250 and £1000. (or so).from Amazon. We have had 3 similar calls in the last 3 days. All from different numbers. No money has gone from our account and no bank name was given and therefore I presume that it was a scam.

It’s a scam, ‘ hi mum text me here’ Or my phone has broken, using my friends old phone. Do not reply!!

SCAM-Was at work. Don’t know anyone in Rotherham so ended call and blocked immediately. & from look of feedback glad I did. I am getting scam e mail attempts daily. Trying to tempt me under differing guises either offering loyalty points or entering me in competitions . Most say from Curry’s but now they are piggy backing e mail contacts of mine masquerading as them and trying to get me to click on links of photos they sent. They get around the block facility. 01163930446 called 14Apr23 at 15:40 hrs. silent call similar No.to 5 previous call over the two weeks so... shouted at the caller to HISS off, made me fell better temporarily. Callers be aware all 01163930xxx numbers will be ignored from now on.

Telephone call claiming to be form the Visa Mastercard security line allowing me to select option 1 to cancel 2 attempted transactions this morning. One for £600 and the other for £900. Scam.

I was called from this number this morning claiming to be from my bank. It was a recorded message and not a ‘live’ caller. I was informed there were two suspect transactions from my account and, if they weren’t from me, I should press 1 on my keypad. I hung up immediately, checked my bank account and saw that the transactions didn’t exist so I assume that this was an attempted scam.

Scam call claiming to be 'bank security' asking for confirmation of recent payments to Amazon (£300) and a four figure sum sent overseas. Recorded message, no identification asked for or given. Press 1 to cancel, 2 for further details. Replaced the receiver.

Answered a call from this number, where the caller, Chris (with a thick Indian accent), claimed to be from O2 and wanted to know how my day was. Since I'm not an O2 customer, I hung up and blocked the number.

SCAM automated voice message that a card had been used for £300 on Amazon and £1100 on an international money transfer website. Asked me to call to authorise these transactions or speak to a member of the team to resolve these transactions

Said they were calling from O2 but I very much doubt it. Very poor English.
