Marketing call - did not try to get past the call monitoring otherwise would have pointed out on TPS list so they are breaking law.

Suddenly started getting calls from this number, sometimes twice a day. They sent me a text message saying from Mackenzie Hall and asking me to text back quoting an account number which they gave me. I ve never answered calls or text, never had a debt other than a mortgage (now paid off) and had new mobile number within last 3 months so how have they got my number and why are they bothering me!
I have no idea as it rang off before I answered it

I think she said it was ast. The lady told me it was a customer service call for my washing machine at an address I sold more than seven years ago. She hung up without saying another word

I received a call from this number with an automated message saying that this was regarding some important information about my account. They didn t even specify what kind of account nor did they ever identify the company they were calling from. Seems to me like they want to get people to react out of panic because of the word "account". I didn t return any calls or anything, so they kept pestering me and now they are blocked. Missed a call from them on BOTH my phones. Attempted to call back incase it was network provider office calling and it connects whilst ringing. So effectively we getting charged god knows how much if calling back. DONT CALL BACK!!
This is obviously a scam - slight delay on answering and recorded message cut in, but as soon as it stated this is HMRC I cut off the call.

I got a phone call from this number, as I did the 1471 to hear the number back. The man said his name was John and wanted to speak to my brother. He new his name and said he owed money and they wished to speak to him. My mother answered the call but wouldn t give up any details, but she kept asking them questions about who they were and why they were ringing. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION AWAY!! DO NOT ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS!
Recorded message left on my answer phone saying my bank account has been compromised and loads of money spent.
Two calls to my work phone from this number in the last week. I missed them both and no message was left. Google tells me the 0390 prefix is only used for fake numbers so putting this one in the annoying "spam" category.
