This is the 2nd call i got in as many days. Its a young girls voice telling me they have been informed i was in a traffic accident. The penny dropped on the 2nd call that it s a very clever RECORDING of a girl!!! This is a first for me and I am 100% sure it wasn t a real person but it does sound convincing. The long pauses and style of speaking gave it away. BLOCK THIS NUMBER.

They said they were the National Insurance office, but when I asked if they could confirm that it was a genuine call they got aggressive a put the phone down.

SCAM - purportedly from HMRC re Tax Fraud, HMRC confirm “ HMRC is aware of an automated phone call scam which will tell you HMRC is filing a lawsuit against you, and to press 1 to speak to a caseworker to make a payment. Was called by this number out of the blue saying I can sign up for Amazon Prime for £7.99 per month. I have always decried Prime activation and have in the past asked Amazon to disable Prime on my login. This has been that way for a couple of years now, but this has started again. It was an automatic message call.

Not totally sure whether they're just a call centre or a scam, but they seemed to have some patchy information about our company and tried using it to speak to someone (the wrong person, just a name they'd found who knows where) about our payment systems, claiming to be from "DNA Payments". I couldn't tie this number to that company online so I assumed it was fake and blocked the number.

I received two calls from them yesterday, they hung up.....got a call today, picked it up immediately and a chap said he was from Ideal World....having seen the comments here he asked to speak to me. I said "hold the line, I ll get her for you" Then left him hanging on for 15 mins.....went back, he was still there, I said "hold on I ll get her for you" left him another 15 mins...then I hung up hahhhhaa......if you don t put the phone down, they can t use the phone until you do apparently?

After receiving this call, I asked for a return call for me to get my banking details, but checked the 0800 number instead, and got this site. Glad I did. I ll be informing family and friends now. Thanks for this site.
