I have had two calls from this number today and when I answer they ring off.

Harassing call telling me that I have been involved in an accident in my car, my car had been stolen so certainly wasn t me lol. The operator soon hung up

This is a Somerset Highways telephone number. If you have made a comment, or complaint, about a road or pavement, either by email, letter or telephone, this is the generic telephone number they will call you back on. They did telephone me back later the same day. No good trying to call them back, it is not a manned line.

Many missed calls but no messages ever left.

They phoned wanting to check the mobility of my aunt whose phone I picked up. When I started asking them questions the phone was swiftly put down. They had phoned my aunt previously wanting to sell her a mattress no doubt this was a further call to put pressure on her
