I just received a call from this number, 07900787794 automated call saying my national insurance number has been compromised. I am presuming this is a scam. I just hung up and blocked. If it was a real number they would have left a message.

SCAM Claim to be from BT Openreach with issues on the line. Asked for details of how connected to internet and then wanted to “fix the issue” When I asked who my ISP was and what company they worked for, he hung up.

SCAM - This number sent me a text message claiming to be from Lloyds Bank, saying that I'd set up a new payment to Mrs H Benson, and if it wasn't me to go to https://cancel-online-newpayee.com, so I forwarded it to 7726 to report it as spam. Maybe you should too!
This number would APPEAR to be safe. In view of comment below, I phoned Morrison Utilities on their customer help line & they confirmed this very strange ( to me, at least) & very long phone number is one they use. I will wait for them to ring back as only a brief message was left on our answering service. If all turns out well, I will get back to confirm whether or not genuine.
SCAM The guy on the other end of the phone swore at me and said fuck off then, because I cut straight to the chase and asked what’s this call about and didn’t let him finish his dodgy sales patter. Block straight away.
