Received a text from this mobile number saying I have a parcel to be delivered and there was a link to go to a website. I haven’t ordered anything. There has been a few of these texts lately from mobile numbers.

Fraud. Said they were our local energy adviser and wanted to speak to the home owner. Suspiciously hung up when I asked what it was regarding.
SCAM: Obviously a spoofed number- supposedly calling from my local area. An Indian sounding woman announced herself and said she was calling from BT. I don't have my phone line from BT, so I put on a silly voice & asked her if it was nice where she was, or was it raining? She ended the call.
Fraud, SCAM, PHISHING 07440008657 claims to be from HMRC in an automated american accent. I pressed 1 to find out more and spoke to a human (with a fake American accent) who immediately asked for my name and postcode. They hung up when I politely said no.

SCAM- whole week am receiving phone calls either from different mobile numbers or London area code numbers, including this one! Saying either my national insurance number has been reported ? Is there even such thing? Or now most recently informed me of the tax fraud that has been registered on my name? Then they always threaten of the legal action that will be taken , someone will investigate me or that someone will come to arrest me unless I “press ‘1’ now” if I don’t pick up they don’t leave a voicemail..

SCAM / SPAM Recorded message saying it's the HMRC that there is a fraud case in my name I have to press 1 now. Obviously I didn't I hung up and blocked the number guessing if you press 1 it will charge you ridiculous amounts of money or will try scam you into giving more details either way I wasn't willing to find out if you get a call from this number or a similar message from a different number just hang up and block.

They called to offer me a free pension review. Knew my address and mobile number. They said new regulations entitled me to check I was not being overcharged for my pension. This is a scam - they claim to be HMRC (although he pronounced it HRMC!) and are asking for student tax to be paid. I told them that I am 16 and not working and therefore not eligible for tax. He - an Indian sub continent accented person - insisted I have to pay it until I informed him that I actually work for HMRC and this is a scam. He admitted it was and rang off. NOTE: I don't work for HMRC and I am not 16. BEWARE!!!!
