Apparently British gas calling me from number 8000094818. No idea why, other than to try and get me to have a smart meter installed. If it was that important they could have left a message asit's my landline they keep calling which has voicemail and an answering machine. Don't trust them at all. They can send me a letter if they want to tell/ask something instead of calling up asking to speak with me. No way am I confirming who I am to some stranger with a Pakistani accent who could be using BG as a front.

I had a text message from NATWEST to ask me to verify Y or N on a few transactions on my account, One was genuine, 2 weren t. I then had a call from this number asking me to confirm a few details, full name, address etc. I asked them for another number I could call them back on and was told to use the one on the back of my debit card. I called this number from another line (I ve heard of instances where the fraudsters are still on the other end of the line whilst you are dialling the new number) Natwest con
