When you answer your phone and if it s a number you don t recognise, DON T SPEAK JUST LISTEN! Wait for the caller to speak first and then decide whether to simply put the phone down. If it s a recorded message, it ll nearly always be a scam or a computer dialling a batch of numbers in sequence and trying to assertain if the number they have just dialled is a voice line. i.e. a private phone number. If the system recognises a voice line then that number will be added to a list for their agent to call you bac

The guy from phone said that is from Barclays bank,and they saw that in Dublin somebody try to make a payment of 400£ to Argos, and he ask me details from my card. But I'm not sure if it's scam or not
Had this number call several times. Says its the council and has grants available for window replacement. Hung up. Harrising tech.
SCAM - robot pretending to be from HMRC about a tax fraud claim
Had a call at 1221 today, 12 Jan 17 but caller left no message, so obviously a scam/spoof/marketing call. Tried ringing the number back but got a Sky Voicemail Service. Tried calling the number again at 1530 this afternoon, only to have an automated message saying the Voicemailbox was full & could not take any more messages. Recommend ignoring any calls from this dodgy number.
Fraud
Several calls from this number telling me about eligibility for a new boiler I don t want. The automated number asks me to press 2 to speak to a customer services agent . When I pressed 2 the man could hardly speak English, swore at me and hung up.
