I've never been in a council property and they refuse to give you information on where this information has come from and it must have been an error. Well if you're calling on behalf of somewhere that's never had my information you clearly haven't got it from them nor is it why you're calling. He even said what you think i'm trying to scam you. AVOID or just waste their time like i did
This number is a big time scammer,and ruining the name of great Britain...that's all I hve to say namastey from india..thank god.. luckily I didn't get trapped by this scammer.i met her,in facebook disguise as a nun...holy Christ such things are happening in the name of religion.
They called me today claiming to have got my number from LinkedIn. My LinkedIn profile does not have a phone number, in fact LinkedIn keep asking me to add one. They mumbled something about indirect tax and I hung up.

I'm not too certain about the caller, as he started off by saying both my Company name & personal name, & he'd obviously "done his homework" as when I asked him who was calling, he said the name of my provider. Unfortunately he spoke at the speed of sound, so when I asked, he said he'd speak slower, but then the line disconnected, so I didn't get to find out whether the caller was genuine or not. Claimed to be ringing from NHS and started by saying Good Afternoon and this was at 08:46 so rang alarm bells anyhow. I cut him off after he apologised and said sorry Good Morning
This number is no longer J A Winward and Sons - Scientific Glassware. My dad was one of the "sons", (J A Winward was my grandad)... I don't know who is using the phone number now, but the premises is now an art studio called Red Door and they might still have the same phone number?
SCAM, Fraud Sends SMS messages claiming to be from Evri, leading to a fake Evri site. Presumably a phishing scam.
