SPAM Son getting multiple calls from this number and consecutive ones. Also very close numbers. Son very upset due to major issue and callers don't know that but he has answered the calls saying "cold caller f.off I am not in the mood for this" Disrespectful Asian guy said he's going to keep calling which i feel is disgusting.
A recorded message informed me that some fairly large debits had been made on my Barclaycard account and that I should press '1' immediately. (I didn't do so.) Checked my Barclaycard account and there is no sign of any such debits. I therefore concluded this was a scam.
SCAM: Overseas call centre (possibly India/Pakistan) pretending to be Virgin Media called asking me to install AnyDesk.com software to help me "fix internet problems", got very abusive when they realised they'd been wasting their time as I knew instantly it was a scam and kept them on the phone for a while

Unlikely to be trustworthy. Said they were from HMRC - very doubtful.

SCAM Claiming to be from Virgin Media. Recent similar calls tried to get us to download QuickSupport app - don't do it!!
Tried the 'we need to check some transactions on your account' trick. Told him to 'go away'..... only thing is, the number appears to be a genuine one. Looks as though it may have been hijacked.

Number called 3 times advising they are calling from the Carphone Warehouse and wanted to offer me an upgrade. They 1st and foremost didnt know which network i was with yet they were offering me an upgrade. It sounded dodgy so i thought i post on here. Please beware!
