The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. A woman asked for me by my first name. I asked who was calling. She said SKY. I said no thankyou i've had these scam phone calls before. She said errrm ok and rang off

This number phoned me at 16.31 this afternoon. It sounded as if there was an office or similar room with people talking. When I asked who was calling, without giving my name, a lady said "good afternoon, how are you today?" I asked again who was calling. the lady said " your father" and hung up. I will be blocking this number henceforth.

Claimed to be a sky engineer who noticed I had low broadband speed......(not true) Then tried to convince me to use my mobile phone to call a number to fix it.????????..... Obvious scam....so I hung up.
