SCAM I didn't recognise the number so didn't lift the handset. Half a message was left at 10.27 a.m. The beginning was missing, and the message went on, "However, your internet and 'phone connection will be getting disconnected if this won't be fixed. Press 1 to speak with our Executive and get it fixed." HOW DARE THEY? This is OUTRAGEOUS. I recognised it as a scam, but what about all the innocents out there who pressed 1?

Apparently from BT advising there were "irregurlarities" on my network and that they would disconnect me unless I pressed "1" for instructions. Almost certainly a scam so I declined the invitation.

Automated call telling me my Internet will be disconnecting in 4 hours and yo press 1 to be connected to my Internet supplier to arrange a new router and reconnection of my Internet. But they neither told me the name of my supplier or called me by my name . Which my supplier would have done
Asked about the insurance claim that went in my favour. First I heard about it. Asked them to elaborate, they went quiet, then hung up! Pointless fools!
SCAM call Indian accent claiming to be from BT openreach having 'registered' problems with my internet. I asked who my ISP was and he said Virgin Media .... well they don't use BT openreach and they don't supply me with internet .... SCAM call. Probably faked CLI too.

SCAM. Said his name was Chris and that he was an energy advisor. Then said that he "believed that I was the owner of the property?" I said "which property are we talking about?" The line then went all squeaky, which I assumed meant he'd tried to disconnect the call but was obviously using a voice over IP automated system. I stayed on the line until it eventually disconnected to let the telecoms company get the most out of them! Time wasters!!
