no message left n 2nd time they called in 2 days
I have just had the same call so pressed 3 and it was an answering machine, they got identity of myself wrong. I could really do without such calls as I am a pensioner .
A woman phoned me and asked for me by name. When I said it was me she rang off.

My husband passed the call to me as it related to my washing machine insurance renewal so I did not hear any name or how the call started. He did rather a hard (and fast) sell with a reduced annual figure but taking 3 years immediately. He seemed to have details of my current annual figure. I checked with D&G who deal with the insurance and they did not recognise the phone number as belonging to anyone working for them.

called mobile and disconnected after two rings, Called back and answer machine advising it is a courtesy call from PHK Financial. Never heard of so blocked number.

Same situation as other comments; called 3 times in one day, no one spoke until the third call as hung up every time I asked who was calling and why. He insisted it was not sales call, knew my name and asked what company we use for the television and what my working position was, whether I was retired or working. Then hung up. Had a strong indian accent.
