Silent call
scam was told I had won some IT upgrade India call center
Indian scammers pretending to be from BT saying I had malicious files on my router making it slow. Just wanted me to give them my IP address so they could fix it. This was the ‘supervisor’ Alan (lol never heard an Alan sound like that!). Just before I had a call from 01392210806 Indian ‘Michael’ who after 20 min of winding him up passed me onto Alan after Michael couldn’t answer my questions. Call only ended coz I had stuff to do so told Alan he was a thieving scammer and F-off.
Didn t answer. Saw regular number (not 08...) so called back. It s sales and marketing (a recorded message) - typical irritating cold call. Can live without them.
Several missed calls & no message left!!! On another site I saw the following: 6 users marked it with negative rating. This phone number is marked as 3x Call centre, 2x Telemarketer, 1x Nuisance call.
I've missed this call, so I called back and it was a marketing call. I don't know where from, as I've hanged up when realized.
