Almost certainly a scam call. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. NEVER GIVE ANY INFORMATION to an unknown caller. NEVER RETURN A C...
We believe you ve been in an accident recently. Auto response device; I just hung up. Total time wasters.
Silent call when I answered the caller hung up And line went dead
Just called my landline. Male indian type accent - Slow speaker, used some strange (not common english) phrases, poor to understand what he was talking about. Something to do with BT landline costs. Talking about half price (or free) for next few months. He knew my postcode and clearly my landline number. I hung up at that point. I suspect a scam of some sort - but did not want to invest further time on it. A nuisance call.

Called our business number & hung-up as soon as we answered! Called us back again a while later & asked to speak to the Business Manager about electricity. We told them that they called a short while ago & hung-up so we are not interested in their call! The caller tried to advise that they didn t ring us before!! We could check the number so knew it was the same caller!! We stated that we are not interested in anything they have to offer & would like to be removed from their contact list. They then rudely &

Before 1985 this was my home phone number, the dialing code is Nottingham and the 63 was my local BT exchange at the time, located in Hucknall. A lot of the BT lines were terminated as this was one of the first areas in Nottingham that had access to a cable service that at the time was provided by Diamond Cable (Who sold to NTL, who virgin bought and now operate nationally in the UK)
Automated voice, claimed to be calling from customs tax revenue, threatened to issue a warrant if I didn't press 1, etc. Hung up as it's an obvious scam and that's not how warrants work.
Dover / East Kent College nothing to worry about genuine number :)
Unsolicited caller name, controlled decent.
Called asked for me by my first name, scam smell then started asking about a mortgage I had many years ago, so I hung up!
