Much like the other reviews, my 83 year old Grandmother was called and told the warranty on her boiler had run out and that they needed to take payment to renew it. No explanation of who they were etc. Reported it as fraud to her bank but also called to cancel policy and ask for full refund. Worried now that this may not be honoured after reading other posts. Awful, underhand, dishonest sales tactics. Bet they re laughing all the way to the bank.
A message was left from this number stating that I should press 1 for the department or I wouldn't be able to use my National Insurance number anymore. Doesn't say what department or who was calling.
Kept calling even after I asked to be removed from their call list. They became very rude and telling me I should listen to them. They need to be reported
REALLY HALIFAX. IGNORE THE PEOPLE SAYING THIS IS A SCAM THEY ARE 100% WRONG. Turns out my emergency credit card had a fraudulent payment on it. I’ve never used the card so Halifax must have leaked my details, which is highly worrying. I was suspicious so I called the number on the back of my bank card to be safe but yes this is 100% Halifax’s fraud number. If you don’t believe me then please, please, please call the number on the back of your card because there has been a fraudulent attempt made
