After answering the call I was informed by recorded msg that I had money waiting for me regards my ppi. Now since I ve never had ppi I find this unlikely to say the least. Just a phone call from this number. The ?lady? who called me said she was contacting me regarding an accident I?d had in my vehicle. I asked which accident she was referring to and she said ?the accident in [my local town] last year?. Alarming that she knew my location. SCAM: A man claiming to from Medical Alert company, offering to sell me a personal alert alarm. A neighbour received the same call, and was taken in, passed on to another person and gave bank card numbers (He has now alerted his bank). This scam is targeting disabled older people who may want an alarm.
Automated number which tells you or your solicitor to contact them regarding an extremely time sensitive matter. Warns you not to ignore the call or you will suffer the consequences. Evil Scammers.
