They call and ask you for a one time payment to support a magazine to go into schools regarding bullying. ONCE. ONE TIME ONLY. You do not sign a contract, you do not enter into an agreement. They then persistently call you and ask you for more money as apparently you have entered into a contract. Called asked for me by my first name, scam smell then started asking about a mortgage I had many years ago, so I hung up!

Rather worryingly I have just noticed that my phone has rang this number twice this afternoon. Both times for 41 seconds. I ve never rung the number before and it seemed to have happened when I was taking another call from a colleague. I will have to keep an eye on the phone bill!

SCAM. Advertises dog for sale. Uses photos of someone else’s dog, never with a person always on its own. Takes a deposit which he wants putting into a business account Clearly tries to delay things then gives you random addresses Blocks you if you try and get in touch

Asked for Mrs Cragg (not known at this address ever - we are first occupants). Said they were from microsoft and needed to help. When I said no-one of that name here, got flustered and hung up. Tried calling number back but won t go through.
