Foreign male voice said he was ringing on behalf of BT about my service, i said I'm an engineer and will look into it. silence ! exept for chatter from the call centre...
Just called my landline. Male indian type accent - Slow speaker, used some strange (not common english) phrases, poor to understand what he was talking about. Something to do with BT landline costs. Talking about half price (or free) for next few months. He knew my postcode and clearly my landline number. I hung up at that point. I suspect a scam of some sort - but did not want to invest further time on it. A nuisance call.
