This number called me saying it was natwest fraud services.
It is only 1 digit different from the Natwest phone number. He said my account had been compromised.
He knew my address, phone number, DOB, and the my account number. We was trying to get my customer number along with PIN and password details.
I started googling the number while on the phone and realised in time that it was fraudulent and called natwest right away.
I put the phone down and he tried calling back multiple times.

They will tell you they are calling about your pension and that they have been contracted to review it for free to make sure you know what you're entitled to when you retire. Then they start asking for your date of birth, NI number etc.
Surely to goodness someone, somewhere, has got to put a stop to this. Who is paying for all these claims? Us, in our high insurance costs of course. It is pissing me off, big time. Stop phoning me - I was not hurt, but it is getting to the point where perhaps I should claim just to stop these calls. Two bleeding years I have been fending off these damned nuisance calls.
Automated message asking me to press 2 to do a short survey and win shopping vouchers... I pressed 9 to opt out and 2 days later they called again!!! Opted out again and blocked the number - I have reported it to the ICO also. HOW ANNOYING.
I have had at least four calls from this number but it takes me time to get to the telephone. It only rings a few times so from the other complaints here I guess they target people who happen to be on their computer near the phone at the time.
