I bought a new phone at the week-end - a BT8500 Advanced call blocker - only set it up last night and although my phone hasn t rung, I saw there had been two calls blocked. I checked the number and turns out it s the number everyone here is complaining about. So glad I bought this phone as totally fed up receiving nuisance calls every day.

Has been harassing me for a week. Calls (which I ve locked but still can see received call history), text and voice message. I contacted them that I have dealt with PayPal directly as they are not trustworthy and it is not my problem if PayPal did not inform them. Today they left me a voice message calling me a b * t c h. Seriously? These monkeys didn t even get my name right.
Who does this number belong to
Got a call from this number today but didnt answer it. Googled it but no records. Called it back on a spare phone and got "Number Not Recognised" message. So it looks like a scam of some kind, designed to make it look like a number from Derby. I'd say "Dangerous" until proved otherwise.

SCAM: recorded message about Tax evasion and an arrest warrant - there are some sick individuals out there!!!!
This is not a number I know or use, the first 5 digits are known to be scammers operating untraceable numbers from outside of Britain.

Someone was saying they are a financial advisor and were asking me questions, but I couldn't understand anything as there was a very loud music in the background. Not very credible :D I said I couldn't understand what they were saying and they hang up..

Automated call impersonating HMRC and requesting details with regard to a bogus fraud case.
automated call saying I had to pay money to Amazon (SCAM)
