Called and the an American voice said they were busy and my call was important to them, please stay on the line so I hung up
Got a call ( automated) purporting to be from the tax office, all kinds of veiled threats about warrants and arrests. I m currently in the US so let it run on a bit before hanging up. HMRC do not send unsolicited texts. Total scam.
I never answer unknown numbers - research shows this is a SCAM - purporting to be HMRC - NOW BLOCKED Annoying & potentially DANGEROUS
