My guess is that if I had tapped the link in the message it would have connected me to a premium rate number so I ignored it.
This was an SMS message saying I have paid £22.00 and this is my receipt. The message was quick and I couldn't make out the name of the company who had claimed they had been paid. It started off mydot... When dialling the number, 07537415555, I was told the number does not exist.
This is a message service used by small business owners to send receipts. It does say my.izettle in the link (as someone mentioned) but I know who the sender is and it is a receipt for an eyebrow waxing I had done today.
