The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. Obviously you were the ones they were looking for for them to steal your hard earned money from. My mother had a text from this number stating that their had been fraudulent activity, she had apparently spent ?40,00 in Argos this morning which she hadn t. Someone rang from that number claiming to be from Natwest but my mum was sceptical so she rung off and called me. I looked up a real number for Natwest (0800 011 3312) which she rang. had a call this morning they said i had a tax fraud case agianst me and to press 1 to speak to someone which i did lady with an indian accent asked for my name and adress i told her to shove it up her backside and get my number taken of, lady basically shat herself and hungup
Recorded message: “This call is to notify you that a criminal case has been registered against your name…”
Caller said that she was calling from Amazon and checking that a payment (£400+) had been authorised by me. I did not respond and ended the call.

This person identifies himself as Thomas from Adobe and has called us over and over to the point of harassment. He has been told that we wont put his call through to the person he wants to speak to as they don’t want his call. He tries to intimidate his way through, then sits mimicking me down the phone line and finally he leaves the line connected so nobody else can call us. The number even though a local number (0203 655 7035) has connections to India and the guy speaking has an Indian accent.
Firm calling TPS registered numbers. No firm of that name in the dialling code area, others elsewhere.
