Been getting calls and messages day, night and bank holidays from two numbers and not sure why. I do not answer, but when they leave a message they do not explain who they actually are, nor what it is about. The other number is 01482 618100, which I assume is related to 01482 483281. Someone called me on this number this morning twice while I was in a meeting. I called back and someone called Mark answered. I did not give my details but asked why he had called me and he put the telephone down. I rang back but it just rings and rings. They/he has tried to call me a further five times today already(seven times in all) and it is only 3.50 pm. HELP.

I rang back hiding my number, when put through, I was told my details had been passed to them from national database, and that I had been involved in a road collision. I told her she didn t know who I was, but insisted my phone number was displayed and matched to the database. Obviously from the outset this is just a cold call hoping who ever answers has been involved in some kind of accident

Informed me that they could help with my recent RTA. When I said that I haven t had an accident, they said that I must have, cos I had been searching for motor insurance. I explained that I was comparing prices because my motor insurance was due for renewal, they insisted that I had had an accident, and they could help. I had to terminate the call. Who are these people? More to the point, how did they get my mobile number?
