Hi, just had a call from an Asian bloke who said my Internet connection had wires crossed in my house and its causing a network problem. He claimed to be BT. I didn't tell him that BT don't run the network it's Open Reach. Also didn't tell him I'm not a BT customer. I ended the call.

A man with an English accent told me his name, but I don't remember it. I was told that the call was from y local energy consultancy and I was asked if in the past I had used the Government scheme for installing fibreglass in my loft. I said I hadn't used the Government scheme and I did have loft insulation that was installed and then boarded over. I tried to say that I wasn't going to allow the boards to be lifted and he talked over me to say that he wasn't interested and he hung up.
didn't answer phone flags it as potential fraud and reports the number. Get the same call every few weeks, normally some foreign person telling me about how I can get home repairs from the government. Told them last time I lived in a tent, and they put the phone down on me. Don't answer.

Told me they were ringing as I had a car on finance; I don't. Then asked if I had purchased a car on finance or PCP between 2014 and 2019, again, answered no. Then asked if I had mortgage or loan recently, again said no. Then ended the call. Hopefully with those answers, they won't bother calling again.

Said they were from BT and phoning about my Internet. When I said I didn't have Internet with them they called me a 'funking liar'.
0203 4554638 - this number has called me several times over the last week. She said she was calling from Curry's and "wanted to give me a 30% discount on your account" - clearly a scammer - I hung up - these people should be taken down!

Claimed to be calling from O2 sales department offering '40% discount on your call'. When I asked the person to provide an email address, didn't want to pursue the call further. Called our company number purporting to be EDF energy, wanting to know our energy suppliers and contract terms. Advised not interested, but the man kept pressing for details in an unprofessional manner. Disconnected call but they called back and then hung up on my colleague.
