Fraud: I received a call from this number claiming to be National Insurance Department. My personal information been compromised and should speak to Security. Press 1 To continue. An Asian man with English name wanted me to confirm my identity by answering the following questions: Full Name, DOB, contact details, eg home address, email and phone numbers. Mothers Maiden Name along with my bank details. Be WARNED.
This is a genuine Santander Fraud Department number. However I suggest you always call your bank using the number on the back of your Debit/Credit Card to check. This what I did and it was confirmed my Debit Card was being used by criminals, so needed cancelling and replacing.
Text saying it was HALIFAX and a new payee had been added
I don’t have a Halifax bank account just a credit card
HALIFAX: You added a new payee "J Robinson" on 16/01 at 17:05. If this was NOT you, please CANCEL this payment at : secure-onlinebanking.team
