This number called me today sounded like someone drowning under water very strange noises and gurgling. I hung up.
Computerised recording waffling about HMRC, I hung up.
Looks like a financial scammer. Said I had two payments about to be made from my bank account, one for Amazon for £250 and one an international money transaction for £900. Checked with my bank - no transactions due.
Left half a message on my voicemail, "...or nine to opt out." thereby indicating an automated system.

Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. Recorded voice talking about that there is a warrant out for my arrest due to tax evasion. This followed another call a few days prior from a different number claiming to be HMRC - another recorded voice telling me to press a button in order to speak to someone about my tax evasion and threatening with legal action/arrest if I didn't. Awful messages and probably quite frightening for someone elderly or vulnerable. Don't interact with the messages and block this number!

Recorded announcement regarding '100% Government grants' and if you answer some questions they'll check your eligability. Didn't stop to listen to what those questions would be.
