I just missed several calls from this no. after 6pm this evening. I didn t recognise it so I didn t call back. I m a Tesco Mobile phone user in Co. Kerry and recently signed up for a Tesco online shopping account, and had to give my tel. no. as part of the registration process. I don t know who was phoning me from this no. but I DO KNOW that I specifically opted OUT from receiving calls or emails for research purposes. Claimed to be calling from BT technical department.
Rang saying getting cheque for 3K for PPI but wanted ?300 gift card before handing money over. They rang several times to ask if got card so when wife home she answered and asked for company registration number from vague response was clearly a scam to get money.

Pretending to be my gym with my details a month back, today i received a text off the pretending to be my teacher... definitely a scam, beware! do not reply
National Debt Advice Helpline, cold call. Keep receiving calls from these people on different numbers every single day. Have repeatedly asked to be removed from their list. Obviously not professionals as they do not adhere to TPS rules, potentially scammers.
