Claimed to be from BT. Phoned me at my workshop so I asked him to read out my address if he is from BT. Read out an address I ve not been at for 4 years. Told him to go forth and multiply .
On my mobile! Polite, but Susan seemed convinced I owed or had previously paid interest on loans and credit cards since 1997. I assured her that I didn t pay interest to anyone under any circumstances so she had to agree that their services weren t applicable to me. I duly blocked their number.
The usual script - "not selling me something, just a short survey, only 3 questions, nothing too intrusive...." Had to say no 3 times before she rang off.
Fraud 07471835515 -number appeared on phone on 26/7 at 11:10am - answered it - automated male voice - cant remember exactly where he said he was from but said " that my National Insurance number had to be frozen due to illegal activities against it and to PRESS #1 - hasten to say hung up - reported to HMRC DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS CALL
