Called about PPI, insisted I was owed thousands. When I told them I done all my claims myself and had resubmitted a claim to be checked again and had all my money back they then went on to say that I wasn t doing a proper job and was ultimately depriving my children of a family holiday, family car or extra money for christmas which they could get for me as they were more professional and had more authority to dig deeper into my banking situation with my bank than what I had mysel.....haha whatever. Before 1985 this was my home phone number, the dialing code is Nottingham and the 63 was my local BT exchange at the time, located in Hucknall. A lot of the BT lines were terminated as this was one of the first areas in Nottingham that had access to a cable service that at the time was provided by Diamond Cable (Who sold to NTL, who virgin bought and now operate nationally in the UK)
Said he was calling from BT about viruses on my computer. I asked him to tell me who he thought he was talking to as of BT he would know my name. Unsurprisingly he couldn t so I hung up.
I've had two phone calls from them this week. My surname is slightly unusual and they've pronounced it wrong both times. "Is that Mr. ... ?" I've replie...
Fraud Claiming to say that my National Insurance number has been compromised with a quite ropey sounding automated message, which surprise surprise it asks you to press 1 to speak to someone and no doubt hand over your details. Using different mobile numbers from EE so likely using burner phones etc.
