SCAM Caller claimed to be from a law firm advising that the third party's insurers had agreed liability in the recent car accident. They couldn't advise which car was involved or when it happened and then ended the call.

Line was silent when I picked up phone then “clicked” off after about 3 secs; probably scammers multi calling.

Rang claiming to be from BT. Stated that our internet would be disconnected for 4 days and that he needed access to our computer to "rewire" a temporary connection free of charge to bridge the gap. I m an IT consultant and so strung him along for a while to waste his time, then told him what I did for a living. He hung up. Not sure where the money angle was going to come from, but guarantee that they would have either infected my PC or tried to scam me out of money for a fake support contract.
