Fraud. I got a recorded message in an American accent saying that a criminal case has been filed against me for tax evasion. I think I am probably stupid enough to accept this and panic, but I don't believe it and burst out laughing. I think the accent tipped me of 'cause the patter was quite believable(NOT!).

Fraud - called claiming to be HMRC with an automated IVR and said that I had a fradualent call opened against my name and I should press "1" etc.

I never answer 0800 numbers on my mobile but this number has been calling me regularly for the last week or so. Based on what has been written here I m definitely not going to answer it.
