We asked if this was a cold call - the reply was no. If you do not ask someone to call surely it is cold calling. We do belong to TPS but at present this does not seem to make much difference to some companies.

This is a company claiming that my subscription to the telephone preference service is about to expire and I must pay money to them to keep it. They have called about 10 times now, over several days. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but the lady would not let me do that. Asked to be removed from their calling list. Rude, annoying, intrusive and potentially dangerous for someone elderly.
