HMRC scam. Posh sounding gentleman voice. Said that a fraud was made using my details and if I didn't press 1 then police would be on the way to arrest me.

02083684454 is an auto dialling SCAM Line. Hang up all calls. It is a DANGEROUS VISA SCAM - It lies about a recent VISA transaction on your account and encourages you to you to press the callback number -1- to talk to their adviser (who doesn't work for VISA at all)! If you do press 1, They'll empty your bank account while they're talking to you. So, don't be stupid, just hang up.

I ve several calls from this number first time stating they were from BT and there was an emergency with hacking on my broadband and that they need to remote access my PC then charge me for the service (I don t think so) then the latest was they stated I was owed money for over charges to my bank account said a cheque would be issued to my home address (which was my old address) told the guy I hadn t lived there for years and didn t believe him then hung up!

Every 3 months or so I receive a call from these people every time ask for my number to be removed & report them to TPS but still they keep calling
Caller claimed to be promoting the means to prevent scam calls. I informed him that I mistrusted calls from complete strangers who might have plans to defraud me. He politely accepted and hung up. I have no proof but can only rate it as a possible scam.

Scam ? Rang back a short while later with my number withheld to get the sound of a fax machine ?
Computer started playing up this morning, weird happenings on screen then this lot phoned and said they were Microsoft Reading and we'd be hacked. Spoke for three quarters ...
