Robocaller, claiming to be HMRC and that I was being investigated for Tax Fraud. Told me to press 1 to be connected to the investigation officer. nObvious scam. Reported
Recorded message saying that my Amazom Prime subscription will auto-renew at the end of the month; please press 1 to speak to a manager. 1. Although I have bought from Amazon, I do NOT have an Amazon Prime account. 2. This number, on the EE network, cost up to 13p a minute (plus set up fee) from a landline and up to 55p from a mobile. This may be a scam call or just a money-making racket; generating income from lengthy return calls. Do not answer this call and block it!
