Fraud. A person claiming they are calling form CarPhone. Trying to sell me a new mobile plan with 40% discount. They could answer a my question if they are want me to switch my provider or they have a deal from my own mobile provider. They also didn't know who my provider is but wanted me to tell then. O2 scam, some Indian bloke pretending to be O2 and making an offer ie mine was 40% off my bill (which I didn't believe and put phone down then 2 minutes later I get 2 messages from O2 the first warning about scams the second giving a code to access my account)

Spammed 30 odd calls and never left a message. Eventually answered and a girl asked if I was interested in an accounting role. I said yes to see if things were legitimate and she hung up immediately after I answered. Something dodgy, without a doubt.

A dangerous fraud / scam call pretending to be from the UK HMRC. Automated American woman's voice telling me legal proceedings are underway against me and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer. For many reasons, that's not how HMRC would operate.

Claimed to be able to save me money on my mobile phone bill. Claimed originally to be from EE, but that isn't my provider, he then argued with me about my provider - he eventually hung up. I always keep them talking as much as possible to save the next poor victim.

Fraud SCAM Got a call from this number, 21/02/2024 at 16:41. Scam caller claiming to be carphone warehouse, which I have no account or dealings with. The people on the other end were talking together unaudibly for at least 30 seconds before some lady spoke through the phone claiming to be carphone warehouse, which she called ‘carphone company’. Hang up and block this number immediately.

A real person said she was calling from BT Openreach I said I didn't believe her. She then talked to someone else in an unfamiliar language. Then someone said Hello, I said Hello, this continued for a while before I said Goodbye. Newbie scammer?
