These people have been calling my mobile a lot. I answered on the second call today and a girl told me she was from Albany Assured. I asked what she was calling about and she said something about a claim on my car insurance due to an accident (she knew my full name). That s all I needed to hear to know the call was a load of nonsense because I don t drive and have never even had a license. When I said I didn t drive she said "but have you in the last 2 years?" And that s when I said I ve never had a license

Waste of time survey call that failed to announce themselves in a way to recall the name, failed to provide their privacy information and rang off when details were asked. They were chasing for the RNIB/VIRGIN MEDIA and SCOTTISH POWER. If these people use this service I will not want any business with them.

Rang my husbands mobile to tell him he d been in an accident in the last year and he could get £000 s. Didn t seem to be a problem when I told them he d been dead 5 years
Answered the phone . Heard background noises so hit call blocker button.Don t know how but it then rang on our extension phone. I ran downstairs and again no response. I hit the call blocker unit and successful came up. I am also on TPS scheme but the call blocker has been a Godsend as this is the only call that got through this month so recommend Call blockers which block International, 200 built in known blocks and all with held numbers.What a nuisance these people are.

Appeared to be from Scandic Hotels, but is some form of scam, it seems.
Automated call telling me to act now to claim my refund from my bank. Getting this call daily now, on a main switchboard it is very irritating.
Female wanting to get into my computer because of security problem. I told her I wasn't interested and told her I was ending the call. She then phoned me back!

SCAM Pretending to be from EE... Sounded as if was from Indian people call centre offering me to make my package to half price. 01794399253 called my landline on Thursday 13 July and a recorded message advised me that money had been transferred from my account and to key 1 to sort it. 01794 is a Romsey UK number as is my number so I assumed it was local. I did not continue with the call. It was the same as other messages that I have received recently mentioned Amazon. How do scammers phone from local numbers?

The number is in Runcorn so misrepresentation of fact! Answered the phone with what are you selling, told them not to phone again as I don t want to buy a car.
