This is an India based recruitment company that pretend to be calling from London. They use a very cheap connection such as Skype and together with their heavy accents makes them understandably. They offer contracts well below market rate and under dodgy conditions. just tell them you don t deal with foreign agencies and hang up
I received a call from two british east Indian sounding guys saying that they were calling from The online trading academy. The first one asked me personal info like what I did for a living and what I was currently trading... He then said he would put me on with his highly accredited colleague who then asked me to install an app called Anydesk so that he could screen share charts with me. Scam = Automated message saying there is a tax fraud investigation against my name. You MUST press one.... I hung up at this point. HMRC will never contact you by phone!
Rang again, this time the operator told me it was "regarding an accident I had about a year ago" I told them they must have the wrong details and then hung up.

SCAM It claims that the call is from Amazon that I have purchased iPhone for certain price and then if I have not purchased should press 1. Then may be they are trying to steal your data. So stupid Amazon never calls people for purchases even if you buy £1000s of pounds items. They dont care all their products are from their customers with guaranteed insurance and return policy. This is a very silly fraudulent scam. Please block the number before even they call u, one headache less. I blocked them for ever.

A man claimed to work for bitcoin.com and said that I'd signed up to make money online. I've been called over 20 times a day from people who claim to be from some financial company for the past 2 weeks (they make up a new name each time). Numbers probably spoofed but tend to start 0161768, 0161818 , 0113301 or 0113868. Normally decline and block but have answered a couple to ask them to stop. This one swore at me when I asked.

unsolicited call from unrecognised number. unanswered. caller did not leave a message. I do not trust calls like this at all nowadays.
They lead you to believe that they are calling for feedback on your order. They do not state that this is a sales call regarding extended warranty - which is exactly what they are doing. They make it seem that it is a fee-free service being offered and only mention the cost at the end. They offered me a warranty on 3 appliances for ?200 pounds a year but phrase it as this is only ?1.50 for your appliance. Very dubious sales tactics. I would not be remotely interested.
