This number came up on my phone with a message saying my paypal account was suspended and a link to follow. Anyone know if this is scam please.
This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!

Text message received from this number asking me to visit a website to claim payment of £284.76 from the UK government. I have blocked the number.
Called me with my maiden name - clearly 19yrs old at least call list. Didn't even speak to them
did not leave a message when prompted.

My partner wasn't happy to confirm security information for an unsolicited call though and they were happy to end the call requesting we call them. If they were legit and had been on the go for 20 yrs like she and their website states there would have been more searches. Legit companies don't change their phone number every few months!
