I think this is a boiler room operation, touting for investment. Even after you tell them where to get off, they still call back many times. A boiler room operation is one which hypes "investments" which probably don t exist and you lose your money. Worryingly they knew my name.

Safe number Is actually an Indian guy calling who refers you to O2 who sign you up for their Sim Only deal. Shame they have a dodgy-sounding Indian guy getting them customers, because it makes O2 look dodgy. FYI: I have received all genuine emails and contract info from O2 and... I received my SIM! 100% legit (apart from the guy calling millions of numbers from India hoping to get someone to say yes so he can earn his referral commission from O2!).

This number called me today. Didn't recognise it so didn't answer. If it's a "real" call they will leave a voicemail. They didn't, therefore more than likely to be some kind of scam. Number blocked, suggest you do the same!

I just received a missed call from this number and a automated voicemail. They stated they were HMRC and that I had an open action against my National Insurance number that needed immediate action, or will result in my NI number being suspended. I called the number back and an Indian sounding man answered with “Hello, HMRC” when I said I had received a missed call, the line went dead. I left this comment on the Voxbone SA Scam Number function, which is apart of their website. Number seems to possibly be a missed call scam of a 0845 number. The number calls at around exactly the same time everyday, and leaves a voicemail that is completely blank. Claimed to be from some charity representing Noah’s Ark charity. Started going through the script about Covid, strange times, struggling for funds etc. Before he got the point where he asked me for a donation, I told him that If I wanted to donate to a charity of my choice, I would do it myself. I would not be doing it over the phone to a complete stranger claiming to from a charity. Probably a scam.
When I the call, I called it back as I was expecting a call from another company and thought it might be them. It is an appliance cover company "All Sorted Cover" more than likely somehow got my info from a recent appliance I registered, even though I registered it through D&G for a friend's appliance.
