AO - checking through details of order, although seemed like just a cover for the fact they wanted to sell an extended warranty. When declined, aske why, but did then accept reasoning e.g. over time they really are not cost effective.

I have been called every day this week by 0121 732 2044 caller always puts phone down when I answer 1471 says the number is not in use.

If you get a call you should answer or call back as the problem is that the initial database maker sells your number on to other junk call companies. If you have a call from them you should call the number back and ask for James, the call centre manager and demand where they got your number from. What a delightful girl! Called up asking for a Director who isn t based in our office or who ever comes here. I asked what database she was using. I train sales people so know the job can be tricky at the best of times. I then politely and jovially said "Go on then, Who are you an what you trying to sell?" To which she replied "Perfect. F**k off!" and hung up. I hope she has a properous career in telesales and her unpleasant experience of hurling me abuse for no apparent reason hasn t put her off her

Car accident claim scam-mongers, probably a robot, female voice, said a company name so quickly I couldn t catch it. The opening speech was along the lines of I m calling because you were in a car accident that wasn t your fault, is that right? . Said no and put the phone on one side - call ended after 23 seconds, but at least it was at their cost. Am registered with TPS for this mobile, so will report and block.

I was called today by this company and found out who they were (on here). I promptly phoned their 0845 number and requested that they remove me from their database. I explained that I had caller preference and threatened to report them to Ofcom. The interesting thing is that they asked me if I knew a certain person (who they mentioned by name). This person was clearly the person they were chasing for the debt but I had never heard of her. They state on their website that they are they work ethically, honest
