This number has been "Spoofed" as there is no business in Neath where this number is based which is a lawyers etc. The number is being used by an overseas call centre to generate leads. My mother had a text from this number stating that their had been fraudulent activity, she had apparently spent ?40,00 in Argos this morning which she hadn t. It comes up with a local number but that is not where they are calling from. They had my name and were maybe trying their luck to see if I had had an accident in the last 3 years. Each time they say they will take me off their database when I say I haven t.

Kept ringing today and refused to say who they were.

I said "yes, I had lots of accidents. which one specifically are you referring to? Which date? Which car?" He could not give me the details. I told him it was strange that he had my name and phone number but no details of my accident. I suggested that his records were in fact just a telephone directory. He hung up.

Despite being told several times, CARS continue to phone me on a regular basis looking for someone unknown to me. They say every time that they will remove my number but are persistent, aggravating and downright rude.
