I then stopped her dead and told her she was talking crap and I had no intention of listing to her and that as soon as I put the phone down I was going to put her number in the call blocker and that she should sod off. Pretended they were TSB, and that someone tried to take out 250 to pay Apple, they put the transaction on hold and now need to generate me a new card, new sort code and new account number. Called him out on it by saying will visit branch to sort out as never heard of anyone changing a sort code before...I am guessing he would have asked me to verify all those details in order to change them. Scam, scam, scam as soon as I said that he hung up.
Phoned my elderly mother three times in the past four days claiming to be a professional loft insulation company. My mother has said 'no' every time but still they keep calling. Will be contacting British Telecom to have the number blocked.
