I've been contacted by 5 other similar numbers all starting with '020806843**', male voice said "hello, hellloooo" and then my name before hanging up. I'm blocking all the numbers but they're changing the last two digits. Harassing behaviour and more than likely some type of scam.

SCAM / SPAM received an automated message purporting to be from HMRC claiming some bill had not been paid and that if we did not do this by pressing 1 then the police would be round to make an arrest. Random asHMRC may be at times, I can't believe that this is genuine

Have had 4 phone calls this morning. 3 went dead when picked up. 1 was answer machine message about subscription to amazon and asked me to press 1 to cancel and 2 to discuss options. I put the phone down. Has anyone else had these calls?

A person calling themselves John Rollemce (sp) called saying he was from 'Windows Service Centre' in Regent Street, giving a postcode of W1D4EA. He told me my windows computer was having a problem (I don't have a windows computer). When I asked him what my names was he told me the wrong name. As I questioned him about the legitimacy of his call he became defensive and rude. I looked up 'Windows Service Centre' on Regent Street, and could not see a company with this name.
