I answered but didn’t speak as I wanted them to speak first. After about 5 seconds they hung up in silence. I rang the number back and guess what........ it doesn’t connect!!
An automated message plays informing you that the call is from the National Crime Agency and that your National Insurance number is about to be suspended. This is definitely a scam and should be reported.

called asking for person who does not live here but then went on the say he was calling about my computer. Told him I wasn t interested and hung up - Big something or other PC he said the company was. I guess he was going to tell me my PC is infected and that I needed to pay him to remotely connect to it to fix it,

phone rang 1t 6.15pm. my handset identified caller as possible spam. i answered but was silent. the call was ended by caller. decided to block the number.
