Had a pre-recorded message in reference to suspending my NI number if I did not press 1 to discuss further. Apparently according to the message my NI number has been misused hence the threat of suspending. Obviously, I did not entertain them by pressing 1..

Supposed to be from Sky to say problems with my broadband. Voice from downtown Mumbai!! Wanted to know how many devises were being run. Asked me to log into a sight which showed about 6 error messages. Asked me to hold whist I was transferred to someone dealing with my “account”. Then put phone down and switched my lap top off. The number is Birmingham based permanently engaged when you ring back. Be careful!,

Caller said that she was calling from Amazon and checking that a payment (£400+) had been authorised by me. I did not respond and ended the call.

SCAM Falsely said a case had been raised against me. Alleged traffic offences I think, I didn't listen to it all once I realised it was a fake

SCAM / SPAM It was an automated phone call saying it was HMRC that there was a warrant out for my arrest for tax evasion and I had to press 1 to talk to someone, otherwise I would be arrested immediately. Total scam, Google HMRC automated call and the top result is that it is a confirmed scam and you should end the call immediately.

IT'S A DANGEROUS SCAM! A computer is dialling numbers in sequence to sniff out voice lines. If you speak then the line is detected as 'an active voice line' and logged as such, a scammer will then be calling you later! If you don't recognize the number calling DON'T SPEAK, JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear a voice and then the line goes dead then congratulations - you have just successfully escaped being scammed! THESE CALLS ARE HARASSING AND ALWAYS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS!

Stated they were from Carphone warehouse and had an upgrade phone available for me. I am not a Carphone warehouse customer. Don't think CW would call me from a mobile number.

The scamer from Tinder is using this phone number. Be careful.

Got a call from 01246 255920 it was the same company UK Finance who keep ringing me on different numbers. They said i am due 10 year bank charges but could not tell me which bank. I just keep them on the line saying i need to write the number down then can't find my glasses etc. It must be 6 times they have called asking me to ring 0913 1240 871 which could cost me around £25 a call as it is a premium number. Of course once i do ring 0913 they can then release my cheque. I must have wasted at least an hour
