When answered it was a recorded message saying they were from HMRC and I was under investigation for tax fraud. Good job I had heard this scam was about a few weeks back and hung up

someone calling me from 01285538963 and 01286607303 saying my internet connection will be terminated.
Rang saying domestic appliance insurance cover needs to be renewed (which we don't have) - asking me if I wanted to renew for one or two years. When I declined they asked me why I didn't want to renew . My reply was simply cost and they put phone down. They didn't say which company or insurer. Tried ringing the number back but number is unavailable. Potential scam.

Selling ExPat Pension services. My phone is EX DIRECTORY. I enquired where the caller obtained my number, they claimed via LinkedIn which was a LIE. I asked why I should trust them with my pension if they were already lying to me to which they HUNG UP. I tried to call back, was redirected to their mailbox with was full so end of...... He asked for my personal details and details of the accident. I refused to give my DOB and he said I should get receive an email. He then mentioned I would be unable to call this number but gave an alternate no. to call i.e. 01273 660 457 if I had any questions
