Called my mother saying from Virgin Media said we needed a new card for tv box, as many customers have been having viewing and sound issues Virgin Media are sending every customer a new card for the TV box. I got really suspicious as the new V6 box doesn t have a viewing card. Got even more suspicious when he started to ask for bank details. I initially ignored their calls but I am glad I answered a call in the end. They helped me locate an old workplace pension that I had two decades ago. I hadn t given the pension much thought since I left the job. I couldn t of afforded hundreds of pounds to pay a financial advisor so they really helped me out. I do understand people being annoyed about the cold calling though.
